Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons

Sainte-Marie Among the Hurons is a reconstruction of a 17^th century Jesuit mission near Midland, Ontario. WMTA provided the design of shelters to protect original remnants of masonry construction, ensuring their longevity. The simple shed-like forms and timber decking is intended to harmonize with the setting without being confused with the reconstruction.
